About Molina HOPE Coat Drive

Molina HOPE is our corporate giving program. It was founded to empower those we serve, and to support community partners whose goals align with our company mission to provide quality care to those who need it most.

In Michigan, 1.5 million people live in poverty* and many face freezing winter temperatures without a proper coat. In 2016, we launched the Molina HOPE Coat Drive. Since 2016, we have proudly donated over 11,000 coats to deserving families. For 2018, the goal is to donate 4,000 coats to families in need through the Molina HOPE Coat Drive.

We can make a difference together

40%
of the Detroit population is living in poverty.

300,000
people in Detroit have to choose between food or clothing. During winter months, many can’t afford warm clothing.
11,000 coats
have been donated from our Molina HOPE Coat Drive events.
